A Life Less Ordinary

Do single moms actually go out on a date? Maybe some do, but I don’t. I was never into the-romantic-date–with-a-stranger/acquaintance thing. I’m not necessarily closed off on the whole possibility of hitting it off with someone I don’t really know. In fact I’m open to any possibility life offers. I just don’t proactively seek it.

But once in a while you get lucky. I got lucky. After countless relationships I tried to maintain, when I finally gave up on meeting Mr. Right, he found me. We met in the most un-romantic setting, in my most un-glamorous self. But so far so good.

I recently came across Mindy Roberts of The Mommy Blog and loved her entry about anniversary, called Seasons (it’s short but funny!). After reading it, I wondered if I will be as lucky as she is in celebrating an anniversary.
